Heat Pumps for Sustainable Buildings

When designed into new build properties the MCS approved and SAP App Q listed Eco Air Boiler can offer significant carbon reductions and cost savings. Installation in new a building allows the full potential of the high performance Eco Air Boiler heat pumps and the building to the realised, Eco Air Boilers are rated as Sustainable Buildings Code 3 and with simple allowable solutions such as solar panels in a Heat and Power System, of no more than 20% of output can offer a Code 5, zero carbon rating. Eco Air Boilers can heat water up to 70°C from air temperatures as low at -25°C. They are designed and built in the UK to offer up to 400% efficiency, generating up to 4 times the heat output of the electrical input, this is high performance micro generation through renewable energy.


This development of 5 homes uses London Eco Air Boilers to offer potential home buyers a heating bill of just £1.60 a day, or £584 a year.

This new build bungalow in North London wanted to offer a renewable, sustainable heating solution. With limited space and a budget that had to recognise the current economic climate, Global Energy Systems were able to recommend and supply our London 9kW Eco Air Boiler. The bungalow will have an annualised heating and hot water bill of just £200, a saving of 60% against its predicted gas bill. Its carbon emissions will be 44% or 684kg a year less when compared to calculations for gas. When the Renewable Heat Incentive is introduced in June 2011 the MCS accredited Eco Air Boiler will be eligible for income on the energy it generates which could leave the house owner earning money from their heating system.

The engineering solutions that we apply through our standard baffles system allows the Eco Air Boiler to be located outside of the bedroom window and just 3 meters from the neighbour's perimeter without any noise issues.
