A new player has emerged in the race against time to find alternative sources of energy.

A Blackpool-based business has developed a range of heat pumps which could ultimately signal the end of burning fossil fuels to heat our homes. The Global Energy Systems' Air Source Heat Pump range, includes the Global Air Heat Pump, the most efficient unit tested by government, and the Eco Air Boiler which uses air from the earth as its main source of energy for hot water and central heating. The boiler offers consumers up to 400% efficiency which means that for every kilowatt of electricity they purchase, the Eco Air Boiler will supply up to 4kw of heat.

This cost-effective energy solution offers the added benefits of producing virtually no carbon dioxide, being extremely safe, generating minimum noise and requiring minimum maintenance.  It is also available in rural areas of the country, enabling people living in isolated communities to access cost-effective, energy efficient heating.

As consumers struggle with home heating bills and the government seeks to cut the UK's carbon footprint, Global Energy Systems and Technology could have a real role to play.
